Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 cumpriu a tradição estabelecida por outros jogos da série em anos anteriores e estreou-se na primeira posição no top do Reino Unido.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, outro dos grandes lançamentos da semana passada, estreou-se na segunda posição. Apesar disto, é o quinto maior lançamento do ano (à frente estão Modern Warfare 3, FIFA 12, Battlefield 3 e Gears of War 3) e o jogo da Bethesda mais rápido nas vendas.
Em ambos os jogos, a versão Xbox 360 foi a mais vendida com 59 porcento das vendas tanto em Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 como The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
